Sailing Boats at our School
At the sailing school we use several types of boats, just to mention some Topper Taz, Topper International, RS Visio, RS Feva, Laser, Optimist, Topper Magno, Topper Omega, Topper Topaz , Fairwind 15 and BWC Jolly. Boats could be chosen for the courses based on which course is taken, age and ability of the students . These boats are also available for hire and customers could choose a boat that fits their ability.
Optimist
Optimists are designed and heavily raced by kids from 8 years until they are 15 . They can handle them without danger, fear or back-strain. Thousands of kids in over 95 countries sail the Optimist. The Optimist is not only the biggest dinghy class in the world, it is the fastest growing. The only dinghy exclusively for under 16s recognised by the ISAF, the world organising body for sailing.
Topper
Topper International (Tophat) These boats are very popular in the racing scene, they are very durable and are ideal to teach kids and teens. Though these boats are single handlers they could easily take three kids without any problem.
Topper Cruz: Ketch rigged daysailer designed for families to sail together. Simple to rig and sail. Ready to sail including main, jib on a roller reefer and skinnaker. It is equipped wit a retractable aluminum center-board and lifting rudder, bow locker, stern locker, outboard brackets.
